It's January...

...and probably too cliché to say my resolution is to blog more often.

It's been incredibly busy but I feel more sane by writing everything down. My new project is packing for a family wedding in Cuba in 9 days. I'll be taking the pictures so that will be fun. I'm nervous about the packing and travelling part. We're taking all the kiddies too and this is our first vacation ever (at least since our honeymoon 9 1/2 years ago... and we stayed up north so we've never flown anywhere!). I now have passport and I feel like a grown up now that I have one. Who knows if it will ever get used again but I can at least say that I have one!

Cuba should be interesting. Both sides of the families will be there. We arrive on the Monday and they don't get married until Friday so that will give us time to settle in and adjust to doing nothing. I will have to take homework for Tyler but at least we can do that on the beach. I have a couple of nice bathing suits to try out. Unfortunately, they were bought before the pneumonia and resulting stomach flu so I'm about 10 lbs lighter... I figure there will be enough topless people that if mine flop out, I'll be in good company.

I'm looking forward to sitting on the balcony at night with Craig reading and drinking while the kids sleep. I hope we can see the ocean from out balcony... or at least a sunset. The resort has really good reviews although it would be interesting to get a review from someone who has travelled with 3 small children...

Anyway, I'll do a bit more design work this week but then I'm off to pack, check my lists and try to sleep without feeling anxious. I'll have pictures to post for sure when I return from our adventure!
