It's only been a month since my last post. All I can say is pneumonia.
It's the first time I've ever had it and hopefully my last. It started as a cough for a week, turned into pneumonia which I first tried treating naturally. That went well for about 5 days and then my breathing got worse so I tried some antibiotics. That gave me weird joint pain so we've switched meds and added Tylenol with codeine (yippee!). I've had 2 chest xrays and another one in a couple weeks to make sure the pneumonia is all cleared up. I have 4 more days of meds and then I can start back on the natural stuff to make sure my lungs are all healed.
On top of this, Quinten and Addison are both being treated. Craig has a wicked cough (which I keep telling him he should get checked out. I keep trying to get him to take some natural stuff which is like asking him to become a vegetarian!) and Tyler has had his cough since the beginning of school. We are one sick household.
And of course, because of this illness, my freelance is so behind schedule that it's totally stressing me out.
I do need to thank my mom for coming in all last week to help out (and my dad for driving her in every day), my sister for dropping off meals and generally worrying about me, Kalina for coming over to help with the kids so I could sleep, my brother for playing hookie (sp?) from work to drive me to the doctor, Amanda for walking Tyler to and from school and bringing over meals, and my mother-in-law for watching the kiddies while I got my xrays and taking off work to make a fantastic chicken noodle soup with dumplings. And I can't forget Craig... He took off work (even though we probably can't afford it), went in late so he could walk the kids to school, made meals, took care of the children and house while I flaked out and played Legend of Zelda on the DS (I'm now slightly addicted. I think it's therapy; it gets my mind off feeling awful, or at the very least that's what I'm telling myself!)... Seriously, I can't imagine not having family/friends around to help out. I don't know how single moms do it. They totally have my respect.

Glad to hear you are feeling better!
Pneumonia is rough. I was down for a month with it years ago. Glad you're feeling better.
